 Healthcare inequalities that affect black women in terms of maternal mortality rates that are 3 times higher than white women and infant death rates for black women are also higher for black women compared to white pregnant women. |  This mobile app is for a community center at the height of the covid-19 epidemic and this app helps people of color in Boston with covid testing, vaccines, food insecurities, job searching, housing resources and other important family resources. |  This is a project that uses two letters to make a christmas tree and one letter is the "W" and the "star" of this alphabet is being used as a tree ornament hanging from the "W" |

 This project deals with the reboot of the 1970's fad "the pet rock" and the images are all rocks as "rock stars" with wigs and glitter like the glam rock movement of the 1970s-80's and based on the 80's classic "I wanna rock" by Twisted Sister. |  This poster design deals with the affects of isolation at the height of the Covid-19 epidemic and how it affects how people intermingle or don't and how Covid creates a new normal in terms of "safe spaces" like the Beaver Brook reservation in Waltham, MA where this project takes place. |  This interactive seed necklace contains a voice over that discusses the purpose of the seed necklace which slaves used for the common cold, fevers, cholera, aborting a fetus etc. and the necklace is powered through the circuit playground. |
 This is an interactive timeline that starts two years before Covid-19 happened and contains video, audio and talks about how even before Covid the death rates for black women is three times the rate compared to white women and this timeline contains real stories from black women worldwide and how they are mistreated by the medical establishment. |  Project dealing with mental health issues that famous jazz musicians dealt with & how it affected their art & music & the focus on how racism & Jim Crow played a role in the jazz music scene where Billie Holiday sang her haunting "Strange Fruit" a song about lynching & how this protest song became an anthem for civil rights. |  This Bluesbox plays both African and American blues through a computer and 5 instruments that are American and the same with African instruments and the boxes are made of plywood birchwood and the images are laser-printed throughout the project. |
 A project called"Joyce's Choices" that helps out women of color during the pandemic with job searches, vaccines and covid tests, food bank, remote schooling for children like Joyces who have been affected by the pandemic. |  "Design as the Understanding" Mind map for curriculum dealing with doing graphic design without technology for freshman art school students and teams are formed in everyone takes on a role to complete the projects. |  This project deals with what is the better listening experience vinyl or digital in the age of spotify and how collectors prefer vinyl over streaming music and the persona is a 50 year old record collector in Boston who lends his vinyl collection to Spotify to experiment with which is the better experience. |
 This website deals with how filmmakers use either analog or digital film to capture the essence of their project and which one works better in terms of the art and its message. |
